Report: After the disappointment of Ashford it was time to get focused on the next task in hand, I had to explain to the Welsh dragon that it was a hard 4-0 at our place earlier in the season and although it was 6 nil we had to break down a Gravsham side who had some hardy veterans at the back. The Welsh dragon got back to what he does best and scored a short corner early on following up with a 2nd soon after, yours truly missed a sitter after great work from Maysie that should have put the game beyond doubt at half time, but we fought on, Slater was on the left side of midfield and his influence during the game was as ever influential supporting the attack, defending and supporting the defence. Andy Skipper was on the left wing for a 3 pronged attack and as Rambo had stated there will be goals before the game, he was right. Skip's treated himself to 2, the second and excellent deflected goal with lightning reactions, Graysie set me up for my first then Skip's nearly completed his hat trick but the keeper managed to push out to me to put it in the back of the net. Good through hockey with the cool head of Jamie Farley an added bonus and Chris fired up as ever. We now have 3 games, that we must win to secure the deserved title winners, we have worked hard all season so all I ask is that there is enough petrol in the tank to finish this. Next week wont be easy against Maidstone but we have the advantage of a loss yesterday and a 1030 start. Everybody needs to give 110% for these final 3 games like we did yesterday and against Gore Court a few weeks ago, we know we can do it and have the players to do it!!! Get it up ya!!!!!
