Report:
We should have won as we dominated possession but didn't. We were frustrated by a robust and resilient team stronger now they are the 2nd selected team....or 1st in one or two cases! That said we had enough short corners to win easily but found out that our routines which look good against slow defenders didn't work against faster ones. We need to adapt our routines to get a shooting position.
We gave away a very sloppy early goal which dribbled in but having equalised early in the 2nd half created few clear opportunities. Lots of excuses but no goals! Luckily other results went for us and we are now 2nd but the game against BromBecks will be key and will be followed by our Chinese night....all readers please check details on the teamsheet and let me know availability by email to nick.ram@lloydstsb.co.uk. |
