Report:
On paper we had a strong side, on the pitch, well, yes we had a strong side.
From the start we found our feet and within 10mins had gone 1-0 up. Bexley did not look like scoring and we controlled the ball well. Towards the end of the 1st half we did drop our heads a bit and dribbled up our own bums. But we still attacked and found our form.
The 2nd half saw a much different side. Both Bexley Invicta and New Beccs had upped the game. We only dropped our heads for 5 or 10mins in the second half and battled right up until the end with a last minute goal from Kieran, that
I must say was very well set up by the infamous Steve George. Let's not mention the other misses aye Steve? Only joking, we all played a good game, although Bexley were not the strongest side we have met this season but as long as we play our best and this time take away 3 points it has been a good week.
In defence we welcomed back Chris Cousins and this certainly made an impact of the quality back in defence. Midfield we welcomed both Kieran and Steve and again this brought a difference to our game. Matt once again worked hard and scored a good goal.
