Report:
A game of two halves.
First 10 minutes all over them just a matter of time until we scored.
Unfortunately having let our opposition into our D four times, they scored
twice, both times our goal-keeper could do nothing. The first was a double
deflection leaving him stranded the 2nd we all left the D to chase down a
'cleared ball from a short corner' which was hit back into the D to find three
of there players unmarked. One of which produced a good finish first time. The
other two were on hand to hug him. We got to there D but than wasted the ball
continuously we did not create enough chances and our passing was dreadful all
of us we gave it away far to often 'we woz awful' something stank and it was
our performance.
Groan half time 2-0 down ! Us top them in 2nd in the league and very little idea
why. In the 2nd half we came back and for 35 minutes we were camped in there
half they did not make it into our 25. After a number of chances we managed to
get the leveller with 2 minutes to go but we missed ten good chances with shorts
included. No one wanted to loose this one and although a poor first half and a
loss of two points we got something out of the game with our second half
performance. We can not just turn up and win we have to put the effort in. The
2nd half we never gave up and we pulled the game back. On chances we should have
won easily and we need to finish a higher proportion of those that we create. We
had about 15 good chances to score Burnt Ash had 2. You can not play that well
in the 2nd half of a game and get back to level pegging and be too disappointed
but we all know we dropped 2 points not gained 1.
